Some Perrys on the workbench. Got 30+ union soldiers to in the background but only finished the first flesh layer so not much to show right now. These are the last HYW knights I got to paint. Then it's off to do some footsoldiers and men at arms. Oh I forgot. Got a box of mounted men at arms to paint too and another 30 union soldiers. Busy busy. Need to step up the paintspeed. I also started on Yarrick this weekend. Finished the metals and the flesh. He's looking good so far. Don't have his backpack sadly though. Might find one later on.

The stuff I've been painting lately. Firstly is the Britsh airborne mini. A miniature from Warlord I've been working on on and off for some time. But now it is atleast finished.

Second pic are Perrys french infantry. Surely familiar for you who's followed me for some time. Got lazy on the shield but they look rather spiffy with just one coat and some drynrush. Let's imagine they are city militia just given some cheap equipment from the armoury.

Third pic is reinforcements for my chaos force. They finally got some heavy weapons like mortars and such. I made them from second hand minis I got cheap. Repositioned and swapped some arms here and there.

Fourth pic is my coming WW2 aussies for the desert war. 3 matildas and a box of perrys 8th army. The hats are also perrys. Metals that you buy seperate. There is several options in metal. Had to trim the heads a little but nothing seriuos. Gonna be fun to paint. Will use contrats on them except the tanks.

And lastly are my US marine. Painted with contrast just like my japanese. Quite a cool set with some. Really liked them especially after painting them. Went with 2 different uniforms to get some variation and the camouflage one is badass.

Busy month. Finished of the knights from the previous post along with more crossbowmen and one or two longbowmen. Sadly got no finished shot of them as I put them in the cabinet and now they're like missing among 100 knights and men at arms.
My japs are also done after 5years I think. Almost only painted with contrast. Looks decent as I wasn't so careful painting them. My marines will also get the contrast treatment. I have to or else they'll never be finished. I'm starting to like contrast as it gives me a chance of finishing stuff I won't have time with. My new BA aussies have been assembled along with 3 matildas. Queen of the desert. Really beautiful tanks. The minis are Perry 8th army with metal hats. Quite a good fit after scalping the heads 1 or 2mm. Also prepeared my old Black tree design DAK troopers too. 20 or 30 troopers along with 2 mortars and 2 PaK40. Will also get the contrast treatment. They will be joined by a box of Warlord games DAK plastic box. Need more rifles to the force. And today I picked up an old school force of Sisters of battle with 2 immolators. Thinking of giving them a green base just for the old school feel.
So a lot going on and hopefully I can finish these projects and focus more on 1 or 2 projects and await the new Astra militarum minis. So hoping for death riders. Would so fit my new trench table I'm working on.
Cheers!

The work on the Agincourt figures continues. Shoes and the base rim left. Then off to the other 40 ones. Never ends. Got in the mood to do some terrain too using polysterene and CD discs along with plastic plants. Looks great and I'm planning on doing more of them.

My progress so far on the Perry medieval infantry. Can't remember when I painted these last time. Must be over a year or so. Having a hard time to get the colours to cover the black undercoat. The white is the hardest and that's why I haven't painted so much white or yellow. Lol!
The swedish infantry stalled this saturday. The yellow on black undercoat is really killing me. Need to be better at following painting guides.

LARGE update. Sorry for lack of post. Been meaning to post for weeks but have forgotten or not enough time. But as you can see I have a few projects going or been finished. The Deathkorps of krieg are done. Painted 30 of 'em and planning on getting more. Great minis although a little heavy on the details as newer stuff from GW is.

Also finished some Warzone Capitol infantry I had lying about for a while.
Got some inspiration too to get my swedish infantry from Musketeers miniatures painted. Done with the faces and just started the uniforms last weekend. These are really nice, Thick clear details and some rather nice poses. Too bad musketeer miniatures sold the moulds to Wee wolf in the state. There is a load of more intereseting sculpts from that range. This lot will get the classsic blue and yellow uniform.

Got a urge to paint some Perrys too so I dragged out and undercoated 30-40 minis from perrys agincourt range I bought years ago. Quite fun painting perrys again. Had a few confederates lying around too for assembling. So these will get a lick of paint too. As for WW2 North africa I got a load of tanks and a british infantry box for making australians. Can't wait to get them painted. The tanks I got are 3 italian and 3 british Matildas. All will be painted for North africa. Will be great adding a few italian tanks. A few more infantry and I can call that project done along with the british too. Thinking of getting some Vichy in the future.

As you can see in the pictures my chaos cultist also got some new reeinforcements in the form of infantry, heavy weapons and some customized vehicles. Don't think I'll add more to that project either unless GW release some really nice new cultists.
