British Airborne

 Finished my british Airborne this month. Took like a year to paint. Wasn't particularly interested of finishing the,. They were a slog. Great minis though and they painted up real well. Will add some support units someday to make them into a real army for BA.

 My Mordian Rocket Launcher. These are the coolest heavy weapon squads in the entire Guard range. Way cooler than the kneeling ones. I hope that I'll one day find a Valhallan one too. But now my wallet will only be open for the new DkoK figures.

Fort Douaumont

My work on fort Douamont continues. Built the bunkerdoor and added sand on the entire model. Next step is to paint this beast. It's going to look great :)

Assembly line

Not so much painting lately. Mostly been assembling some stranded projects and my got started on my latest terrain build. The figures in the pic is Soviet infantry from Warlord(lovely set) and Perrys HYW sets (They are gorgeous too). Thought I assemble these during my wait for the new Dkok box. My fort will be joining the Guard. Will be a fort attached to a cliff with a big a*s laser on the top. Still a lot to.do on that piece. It's gonna be great.

Forgot to post my finished numenorenas I painted this summer. Some lovely miniatures and Elendil is an epic sculpts. The spearmen and bowmen are really nice too. This was a project I waited for to long to do. Just the high elves to do now.

repainted old terrain

 Decided to repaint some of my terrain as they looked really dull and cheaply painted. Now they atleast look a little decent and as if I really put some efffort in. Found some more screw boxes at work I can turn more terrain bits. Thinking of doing like a small settlement like in Sands of Mars movies.

 Painted up my Hunter orcs I bought last month. Nice minis but with tiny details.

New tanks

 Tonight I contiuned with my imperial tanks. One leman russ and one chimera. Some minor details to paint and then it's time for the tracks. These will be a great addition to my 2nd edition guardsmen.

 

Some storm troopers from the 90swere finished a while back. Think I forgot to post them. My troopers got some serious support now. All I miss is a hellhound and a Griffon mortar. Bought an incomplete Valkyrie some years ago I was thinking of making some terrain of. So last month I took the plunge and built it it. The base is cardboard with wood filler covered in sand. Cut some strips to look like parts of the cockpit. Nothing fancy here just enough so I had the energy to actually finish it. The most important part. I also bought a lovely Predator box. Didn't get the Predator itself but got only the box which I really like due to the cover itself. It's adorable right?

Numenoreans and Moria goblins

 Finished my Moria goblins this week. Really basic paintjob except on the drum and the odd detail here and there. These are mostly plastics but with 3 metal archers and drummers. Had about 18 old ones I did years ago so with these I certainly have a little horde. Will add a Goblin king and a cave troll soon.
Having seen Fellowship of the ring in 2001 I always wanted some numenoreans after seeing the battle of Mount Doom but never got around painting any but all that have changed and I even got Isildur, Elendil, 2 captains and 2 banner carriers on the way. Quite easy to piant just need to vary the black a little. Got a load of 1st age Elves on the way too. They need basing and undercoat. I also ordered some Garrison of Dale and Hunter orcs on Wargs this month. Got so tempted after seeing the new Dale stuff at Games workshop.
