Played around a little this weekend with the camera after painting a wall section and a tower. Will be nice to get the forteress finished.

Speed painted some orcs this weekend. Almost finished 20 of them..only 24 left. They are quite fun to paint and better models than one think first.



 

 

More lotr. This time another Rohan captain and Éomer. Fun models to paint. Also got my first Gandalf too, the Orthanc model. Really liking it. Dissapointing news today though. Saw some pictures of the new Hobbit mini's and sadly enough they seem all too be finecast...really don't like finecast. Good details but too soft material and ridiculous prices. I was hoping for plastic sets. Then I would buy the Mirkwood elves and hopefully Laketown militia and Iron hills dwarves. See if I even buy any of them now...

 

 

The last of my HYW infantry (phew). I set the goal of finish them before Perry released their plastic set around christmas. Glad I pulled it off. Strangely I'm not as fed up with them as I thought I would at the end. Could easily buy a few more set and paint too but need to hold back due to other projects.

Some minor work on my medievals and a little peek at my elfs I've been working on. I'm tempted to get some metal Galadhrim archers too. Also waiting for my dark grey spray cans so I can undercoat my fortress. Cheers!

     I am getting there paintstroke by paintstroke. I think I'll repaint the guy in green. Not a succesfull nor well planned paintjob..Got a small detail on my Rohan warriors left too. They turned out great.
