So here is the things I've been working on. We got a DAK infantry army painted with Contrast and aggaros dunes. It's a mix of Black tree design and Warlord games figures.
We also got around 64 Poxwalkers from Games workshop too. Also painted with contrast. Some of these are my old ones I stripped along with some I bought 2nd hand. So much details on them. And too go along with Bolt action V3 I repainted and rebased some of my old german tanks and troops. Also did some terrain to with some christmas trees I bought last year. Looks great I think. Also doing some houses too. Thinking of getting some bedsheets to spray some roads on too.
Lastly my paratroopers got some much needed support. Who doesn't love the 1st airborne and the Market garden campaign? Read a book about and decided to give them some love. Hoping to get a real nice force of airborne troops in the near future.
Cheers!

Hello there. Though I've been quite on the blog it does'nt mean I'm not getting stuff done. My work on the fallschirmjäger continue and I actually finished and old terrain piece with a knocked out tank. Built a field few years back and cut out a square for the tank and painted it. Drybrushed a little chaos black where the tank is burning. This weekend I finished my Eldar guardians to. Used Cassandora yellow on Wraithbone spray. Find yellow hard to paint and this is a good combo to get an easy yellow uniform. The rest are just standard 3 step colours.
Made some jungle terrain too. Made the base with 2 layers of cardboard and 1 layer of 2-3cm thick polysterene. The plants are IKEAs plastic plant and some trees I've done myself with wire and gauze bandage. Really like them. See if I make some desert ones too for my future tallarna force and North africa collection. Cheers!

Work continues on my ogryns and DkoK. Did the first layer of cadian fleshtone on the ogryns. Didn't like that colour before but it feels better after watching Duncan Rhodes video. Apparently when using cadian fleshtone you need to apply it in 2 stages got get a good coverage and nice shading. Always thought it was a bit thin in consistency but now I know why and how to use it. I got a hold of 2 vehicles for my zombie collection. Roughed them up a bit and painted them fittingly grisly for the Z-apocalypse.

This weekend I finally got some paint on my new board. Went with 2 different shades of brown as base using spray cans and then went with drybrushing the whole lot. Took the entire friday evening but well worth it. Now I have a worthy display board for my minis.
