Finally finished my Bauhaus troopers. A real slog it was. Glad it's over. But I can't help to really really like them painted up. A little goofy and rough minis they painted up real well. Can't wait to get the Imperials painted up. Only 40 to go...While waiting for the paint to dry I started painting my cave troll I had a long while. A great model and now an almost 20 year old classis. Can't believe the lotr movies were released 20 years ago. Still haven't finish my lotr Elves as I planned to do in 2001. Must be my longest to do project yet. My coming projects are to assemble the imperials, paint the Chamond tank and keep waiting for those DkoK dudes. And I can't wait for the Warhammer sneak peaks I've been seeing on facebook. Might we get a chaos vs Eldar box? Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you get some plastic in your presents! Cheers

Numenoreans.

Forgot to post my finished numenorenas I painted this summer. Some lovely miniatures and Elendil is an epic sculpts. The spearmen and bowmen are really nice too. This was a project I waited for to long to do. Just the high elves to do now.

 Painted up my Hunter orcs I bought last month. Nice minis but with tiny details.

Numenoreans and Moria goblins

 Finished my Moria goblins this week. Really basic paintjob except on the drum and the odd detail here and there. These are mostly plastics but with 3 metal archers and drummers. Had about 18 old ones I did years ago so with these I certainly have a little horde. Will add a Goblin king and a cave troll soon.
Having seen Fellowship of the ring in 2001 I always wanted some numenoreans after seeing the battle of Mount Doom but never got around painting any but all that have changed and I even got Isildur, Elendil, 2 captains and 2 banner carriers on the way. Quite easy to piant just need to vary the black a little. Got a load of 1st age Elves on the way too. They need basing and undercoat. I also ordered some Garrison of Dale and Hunter orcs on Wargs this month. Got so tempted after seeing the new Dale stuff at Games workshop.

Easterlings and Haradrims.

My evil horde grows. I finished the easterlings the other night and now have a rather large allied horde for Mordor. They truly add some colour to the otherwise brown and black units of the Dark lord. I'll add some corsairs in the future and perhaps some more elite units for Haradrim. Some Abrakhan guard and Suladan would be nice.

My Haradrims are finished. They look rather nice and it was fun to work with contrast. Will sure do it again on some other stuff.

Also finished a few sets of terrain pieces I built a year or so ago. They were just drybrushed with some minor washes here and there. The body is from a parfumebottle with sand added instead of heads and arms.

Afrika korps, Easterlings and Praetorians

So I've been a little productive and manage to get some stuff finished and some stuff are nearing completion. The Praetorians are finished and turned out rather nice. Very pleased with the Mortar. Always fun details on those old minis.
My Sdkfz 7 is finished and I'm not sure if I will weather it with powders or not. Quite pleased if how it looks right now and I'm not very good at uisng those powders. 

Some random Lotr stuff I've done. Elladan and Elrohir, Radagast and two dwarves I can't remember the name of (Durin or Balin maybe?) And I made some dwarven terrain. I bought some mdf terrain bases of Ebay and they were great. Always had problems making good non warping bases and these were perfect. Also made some ww2 or 40k terrain too. Got the 40k bug and painting 40 cultists at the moment. Really cool minis.

Some bits and pieces. Finishing off my stripped and repainted dwarves. They turned out great I think. Just grass left. Also finished my Luftwaffe field divison set they. I'm really satisfied with them but the figures themselves were so-so. Some rather large heads and skinny legs here and there and no sepereate head system(!) Lastly I'm painting my prone soviets. The last of my soviets set I painted a few months ago. 

What I've been up too. Been starting and putting away several projects as I didn't know what to do next but I did manage to finish my repainted lotr dwarves. They turned out very nice especially the orange beards. Also got to start on Elladan and Elrohir. Old lotr minis with rather large swords and hands. I think they are some of the first lotr minis.



My evil force so far. Must be like 60 orcs and 40+ Uruks. Looks quite nice :)
